Deepen Diamonds ("we", "us", "our") operates the Deepen Diamonds mobile application (the "App"), a business-to-business (B2B) platform for approved diamond-trade customers and brokers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Who this applies to

The App is provided to approved trade accounts only. Accounts are provisioned by Deepen Diamonds; there is no public self-registration.

2. Information we collect

Account information — your user ID and sign-in credentials, validated against our order/inventory system.
Contact information — a WhatsApp/mobile number or email, where you provide it, for responses and notifications.
Content you create — messages and images sent through in-app chat, and holds you place.
Usage information — your searches, filters, saved preferences and items viewed.
Device & diagnostic information — basic device data and app performance timing; diagnostic logs are stored locally on your device.
Push tokens — a device push token (via Apple/Google) to deliver notifications.

We do not collect precise location, and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.

3. How we use your information

To authenticate you and provide access to inventory, pricing and holds.
To place and manage holds and communicate about them.
To provide in-app chat and send notifications (push, and WhatsApp/email where applicable).
To operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the App.
To comply with legal obligations.

4. How your information is shared

Service providers that help run the App — push (Apple/Google), messaging (WhatsApp Business), SMS, and hosting — processing data only on our instructions.
Deepen Diamonds' order/inventory system, which owns products, accounts, pricing and holds.
Legal / safety — where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the App, meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. Local diagnostic logs remain on your device and can be cleared from within the App.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these, contact us below. Because accounts are managed by Deepen Diamonds, some requests may be handled with your account administrator.

8. Children

The App is for business use by approved trade accounts and is not directed to children under 16.

9. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps to ensure an adequate level of protection.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the App or by other reasonable means, and the "Last updated" date will be revised.
